Blairsville RIver Trail - Development Plans

The trail organization has hopes to connect the Blarsvill Riverfront Trail to the West Penn Trail and the Hoodlebug Trail (page NE-215) trail via off-road trail. Recently (2026) all their effort has been directed to the bridge across Route 22.

A 2018 safety audit identified possible safety improvements between Blairsville and Newport Rd along PA217.
